Health Watchdog suggests whistle-blower helpline to improve standard of care

Over in Northern Ireland, The Health Watchdog is recommending the introduction of a new confidential employee helpline to improve quality standards in the care sector. They believe a confidential helpline will help to reassure employees that there is a mechanism in place to report concerns about the standards of care they witness in their place of work.

What do you think? Is there a need for this in the UK? We have worked in the care sector for many years and we are proud to work with employers and care companies who are absolutely committed to providing the highest standards of care.

However if you are concerned about the quality of care your employees are providing, Acacia can help by delivering a wide range of formal qualifications, bespoke training, online learning and short courses to help deliver a continuously high standard of care.

Find out more here  or contact our partnerships team for a confidential consultation about your training needs in health care, social care or child care.
