Transition to Teach
Acacia Training can support people with managerial experience in the Health and Social Care sector by providing a training programme that will help learners gain a recognised qualification in preparation for a role.
We are looking to support people with managerial experience in the health and social care sector by providing a pre-entry training programme that will help you gain a suitable qualification in preparation for potential roles.
The programme will run for 6 weeks, 6:00 – 9:00pm every Wednesday, starting on the 26th January 2022.
During the programme you will undertake your Level 3 Award in Education and Training. This will be delivered by one of our highly experienced tutors who will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to get started as well as give you a great insight into the role of a tutor coach.
Transition to Teach covers:
- Role and responsibilities in education & training
- Using inclusive teaching and learning approaches Principles of assessment
As part of the Transition to Teach, You will gather a portfolio of evidence during the programme that will be assessed by your tutor.
On successful completion of the award you will be guaranteed an interview with Acacia Training for a Tutor Coach role. If successful we will then support you in gaining your Certificate in Assessing Vocational Competence as you move into your new role.
We will provide all of this at no cost as we want to support your development and ensure the Health and Social Care sector is gaining well trained, professional staff that provide the best possible care, without highly trained tutors this is just not possible.
